This policy explains what information moviegroupies.app (the "Service") collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with. We collect the minimum needed to run the Service — there are no passwords, no ad tracking, and no sale of your data.

3. How sign-in works
We don't store passwords. Signing in sends a one-time link to your email address; clicking it authenticates you. This means the security of your moviegroupies account depends on the security of your email account.

We don't sell your data to anyone, and we don't share it with advertisers.
5. Data shared with other users
Your username and any lists you share with a group are visible to that group's members. Your email address is used by us for sign-in and notifications. It is visible to a group member extending an invitation, otherwise it's never shown to other users.
6. Data retention & deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the address below — we'll process the request and confirm once it's complete.
7. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including rate limiting, bot protection, and passwordless authentication to eliminate password-related risk. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to minimize what we collect and how long we keep it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
